The Flibustiers were the French answer to the English Buccaneers — hardened sea raiders who operated out of Tortuga and Hispaniola, preying on Spanish shipping and settlements throughout the Caribbean. Equally at home on land or sea, these fighters combined the marksmanship of the Boucaniers with the ruthless aggression of seasoned pirates.
